Description

This guide post, dating from the late 19th century, is made of cast iron. It features a fluted column that stands on a round base. At the top of the column, there is a bracketed flange with one remaining round-ended pointer bolted on. Above the flange, a short round shaft is topped with an onion-shaped finial. The post has an embossed inscription that reads "TRURO."
