Description
Shirley Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located at right angles to the road. The building is rendered and features a slate roof. Its symmetrical plan includes a central entrance with living rooms on either side. There is a small rear wing on the left side, which has a gable lean-to, and a further two-storey lean-to in the centre bay that contains the staircase. Additionally, there is a single-storey outhouse at the back of the right bay. The farmhouse has two storeys and three bays, with a central 20th-century glazed door and sixteen-paned sash windows on each floor. Gable stacks are present, but the interior has not been seen.
