Description

Chapel Hill Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Thornborough Road in East Tanfield. The building is rendered with painted stone dressings and features a graduated stone slate roof. It has two storeys and a symmetrical facade with three bays. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century six-panel door with an overlight that has radial glazing bars, set beneath a flat arch with incised voussoirs. All windows are four-pane sashes, each with stone sills and flat arches that also have incised voussoirs. The farmhouse has brick stacks at both ends.
