Description

Manor Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located off West Tanfield Road, East Tanfield. The building is constructed of stone, now rendered, with a graduated slate roof. It is two storeys high and has a three-bay front, with a rear wing. The central entrance features a six-panel door with an overlight displaying decorative glazing bars. A large 20th-century casement bow window is situated to the right of the door, while the other windows are 16-pane sashes with stone sills. The farmhouse has shaped kneelers, stone coping, and brick end stacks. A round-arched stair window is visible at the rear of the building. Inside, a stick baluster staircase is present.
