Description
Manor House Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of dressed stone with a graduated stone slate roof. It features a double-depth central-entrance plan and stands two storeys high, with a parallel range added to the rear in the later 19th century. The building has raised quoins, an eaves cornice, and a blocking course. The central door is framed by a raised dressed surround, an overlight, and a keystone lintel. The first and third bays have paired 20th-century casement windows with square-cut surrounds, while the second bay has a single first-floor casement window; all these were originally sash windows. The central bay is topped with a pediment. The farmhouse has gable chimney stacks, and there is a tall stair window on the left gable, while the right gable is rendered.
