Description

This milestone, located on the west side of Old Truro Road in St Allen, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of painted granite and has a rectangular shape with a rounded top. The front of the stone is inscribed with "FROM TRURO 4 MILES," and there is a bench mark below it, indicating a value of 216.0 above ordnance datum.
