Description
This milestone, located in Kenwyn, dates from the early 19th century or was recut around the same time. It is made of painted dressed granite and has a rectangular shape with a round head. The north-facing side features a shallow dressed panel with an incised inscription that reads "FROM TRURO 3 MILES." The original inscription was likely in relief and also indicated the distance of 3 miles.
