Description
This milestone, located in Kenwyn, dates from the early 19th century or was recut around the same time. It is made of painted dressed granite and has a rectangular shape with a round head. The south-facing side features a shallow dressed panel with an incised inscription that reads "FROM TRURO 5 MILES," along with a benchmark underneath. The milestone has been moved from its original position due to road widening. The original inscription likely had four letters in relief.
