Description
This milestone, located in Kenwyn, is from the early 19th century or may have been recut during that time. It is made of painted dressed granite and has a rectangular shape with a round head. The south-facing side features a shallow dressed panel with an incised inscription that reads "FROM" in a style with crude serifs, followed by "TRURO 4 MILES." The original inscription likely included the number "4" in relief.
