Description
Ventongimps Villa is a house built around the early 19th century. It is constructed from killas rubble and features timber lintels above the openings. The roof is a grouted scantle slate hipped design, with brick chimneys located on the side walls. The layout includes a double depth plan with what is likely a slightly later single-storey lean-to at the rear. The front of the house has two rooms flanking a central hall, which probably leads to a staircase between the rear service rooms. The exterior is two storeys high and has an unaltered symmetrical three-window front with a central doorway. The original four-panel door is topped by a small rectangular overlight, and the windows feature original 12-pane hornless sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
