Description
Grove Cottage, including the front garden walls, is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features walls made of killas rubble and timber lintels, topped by a fairly steep slate three-quarter hipped roof with a brick chimney on the left-hand side wall. The building has a double-depth plan with two rooms at the front, flanking a central entrance hall that leads to a stair hall between the rear service rooms. The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window front with a central doorway, which contains a 20th-century door and 20th-century 12-pane horned sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
