ST AGNES CHURCHTOWN, (west side) SW 75 SW 4/146 Corner Cottage - 30.5.67 GV II

House at some time used as a shop. C18. Granite and killas rubble walls, timber and lintels. Steep asbestos slate roof. C19 brick chimney with pilaster shafts cogged cornice over right-hand gable end; tall brick chimney over party gable on the left. Plan: Double-depth plan: 2 rooms at the front flanking a central entrance hall, probably 2 smaller rooms at the rear. Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3-window road front with doorway (left of middle) approximately central to fenestration. Doorway and window above are in probably original openings, those on the left and right have been reduced in width. Opening right of doorway was at some time enlarged to create a shop window. Old 4- panel door with glazed top panels. C20 16-pane horned sashes. Interior: Not inspected.
