Description

Glenside is a house built around the mid-19th century. It is constructed from granite and killas rubble, featuring granite dressings. The roof is a grouted scantle slate hipped design that slopes lower over an integral outshut at the rear. There are rendered brick chimneys on the side walls. The house has a double-depth plan with two rooms at the front, which flank a central entrance hall that leads to a stair hall situated between rear service rooms within the integral outshut. The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window front with a central doorway. The original panelled door has two tall round-headed panels and an overlight. The ground floor features original 12-pane hornless sash windows, while the first floor has later horned copies. The interior has not been inspected.
