Description
Corner House is a house that likely dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of uncoursed rubble with granite quoins and dressings, and it is painted white. The front slope of the roof is covered with slurred slate, while the rear has modern tiles and features brick chimneys. The building has a two-unit linhay plan and stands two storeys high with two symmetrical bays. The central doorway has a panelled door, and there are 4-pane sashed windows with exposed boxes, raised sills, and rectangular lintels. Gable chimneys are present, and there is a catslide roof over the added linhay at the rear. Corner House forms a group with The White House to the west.
