Description

The parish boundary stone, dating from the early 19th century, is located between the original Chacewater and Gwennap parishes. This monolithic boundary stone is made of granite and is roughly hewn, featuring the inscription of the number 16. It served to mark the parish boundary as well as the mineral rights of local landowners. This stone is part of a series of 35 similar stones included in the listing.
