Description

A farmhouse dating to around the mid-19th century. It is constructed of killas and granite rubble with granite quoins, and brick dressings around the windows and doors. The roof is covered with scantle slate and has brick chimneys on the side walls. The original plan likely comprised two rooms at the front, with a central entrance hall leading to a stair hall between service rooms at the rear. The south-west front is symmetrical, with three windows and a central doorway. The front door is a four-panel design with a top light. The windows are original 12-pane hornless sashes, with the taller window above the door having eight panes plus marginal panes. The window and door openings are spanned by shallow segmental brick arches. The interior has not been inspected.
