Description

ST AGNES PENWINNICK ROAD, SW 74 NW 7/186 Presingol Farmhouse - GV II

Farmhouse. Circa mid-late C19. Roughly-coursed killas with granite dressings. Grouted scantle slate hipped roof with brick chimneys over the side walls. Cast-iron ogee-section gutters. Plan: Double-depth plan with probably 2 rooms to garden front and 2 rooms at the rear with entrance and stair hall between. Axial passage behind left-hand room. Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window south garden front with no doorway. Plinth, mid floor string. Original 4-pane horned sashes. Symmetrical 3-window rear has central doorway with round-headed stair window over. C20 door, original windows: round-headed stair window with marginal panes, otherwise 12-pane hornes sashes. Interior not inspected.
