Description
This milestone, located opposite the lane to Pengelly, dates from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is made of granite and features a whitewashed rectangular shape with a rounded top. The front of the stone is cut back to display an incised inscription that reads "FROM TRURO 5 MILES." Additionally, there is a benchmark on the south face, indicating a height of 405.6 feet above ordnance datum.
