Description
This is a signpost from the late 19th century, made of cast iron. It features a fluted, twisted column topped with a collar, although the ball finial is missing. There are two cast iron sign-plates with serrated top edges, displaying the names "CAERHAYES" and "TRURO" in sans-serif uppercase lettering, along with an indicating hand. This signpost is one of the few remaining examples of its kind.
