ST EWE SW 94 NE 1/27 Signpost at SW 982 461 - II

Sign post. Late C19. Cast iron. Twisted, slightly fluted column with collar and ball finial. Three sign-plates, each with serrated top edge. Lettering in sanserif upper case: TREGONY and VERYAN, GORRAN with indicating hand and MEVAGISSEY and ST AUSTELL with indicating hand. This is one of the few remaining examples of this type of signpost.
