Description

The Cross, dating from around the 15th century, is made of granite. It has a square plan base measuring approximately 4 metres by 4 metres, featuring two tall steps and a cobbled top. At the west end, there are three granite steps that lead up to the first stage. On top of the base is a square plan granite monolith cross shaft, about one metre high, with a square granite block set on top, which is reputed to have been used as a sundial. This cross is not scheduled as an Ancient Monument.
