Description

Signpost located at the north side of the churchyard of the Church of St Mawgan. It dates from the late 19th century or early 20th century and is made of cast iron. The signpost features a central post topped with a spike finial. It has three cast iron collars that hold sign plates with raised lettering in upper case. The first plate indicates "ST COLUMB 4," the second plate shows "WATERGATE BAY 2 3/4 NEWQUAY 5 3/4," and the third plate lists "MAWGAN PORTH 2 PADSTOW 8½ WADEBRIDGE 11½."
