Description
This is a pair of 18th-century headstones made of slate, located against the west wall of the churchyard, approximately 15 meters south of the tower of the Church of St Bartholomew in Lostwithiel. Both headstones feature a nowy head design and are inscribed with clear lettering and valedictory verses. One commemorates Bernard Westlake, who died at the age of 5 in 1763, and the other honors Elizabeth Westlake, who died at the age of 8 in 1764.
