Description
This is a pair of headstones located in the churchyard about 5 metres north of the vestry of the Church of St Bartholomew in Lostwithiel. They date from the 18th century and are made of slate. One headstone is dedicated to Mary Clark, who passed away in 1770, featuring a stepped nowy head with an incised border, good lettering, and a valedictory quatrain. The other headstone commemorates Mary Dodd, who died in 1767, and has an incised stepped nowy head with an inscription panel adorned with stylised flowers in the spandrels, also with good lettering.
