Description

This is a headstone located about 25 meters south of the porch of the Church of St Constantine in Milton Abbot. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of slate. The headstone has a nowy shape with canted corners and commemorates Sibil Westlake, who died in 1763. At the top, there is a stylized skull, crossbones, and heart carved into the stone. Below the inscription, there is a verse that is underlined with a decorative incised line featuring scrolls and knots.
