Description

No. 11 Venn Hill is a house dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a plinth, topped with an asbestos slate roof that is hipped at both ends. At the rear, there are two stone chimneys, one of which is rendered. The house has a two-room plan with a central stair hall and smaller rooms located behind in a two-storey outshut. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window front. The central front door is topped by a rectangular fanlight and is set under a slightly cambered stone arch. The windows are 16-pane horned sashes, each positioned beneath flat stone arches.
