8/54 Cottages approximately 10 metres - north-east of smithy, Watergate

2 cottages now 1. Circa mid-C18. Rubble stone plastered on left with slate roof with gabled ends. Slightly lower to left. Brick stacks on left-hand gable end and near centre. Single depth plan. 2 storeys, asymmetrical, 4 window front; left-hand side set back. Ground floor with 2 light casement with glazing bars . C20 timber porch with slate lean-to roof. 16-pane sash and 2 light timber casement with single glazing bars on right. First floor with four 2-light casements 2 on left centre hung, with glazing bars. 2 on right with 2-panes per light. Right-hand corner curved with lean-to on right-hand gable end. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
