Farmhouse early to mid C18 with later additions. Whitewashed rubblestone slate hung on first floor with slate roof with gable ends. Large stone stepped chimney with brick shaft on left hand gable end and brick stack on right hand gable end. Originally 2-room and cross passage plan. Circa mid C19 outshut under cat slide roof to rear. Symmetrical 3-window front with late C19 central gabled rubble stone porch with slate roof. Door on left side of porch. 2 flanking 4-pane C19/C20 sashes and 3 above. Interior not inspected. Site of manor of Tolcarne inherited by Mohuns from Fitzwilliam family. Manorial status lost by end of C14. N A Ackland and R M Druce Lanteglos-by-Fowey with Polruan and Bodinnick, 1978.
