Description
This small barn, dating from the early to mid-19th century, is located approximately 10 meters south-west of Mingoose Farmhouse. It is constructed from killas rubble with some granite dressings and features timber lintels. The barn has a grouted scantle slate hipped roof and a rectangular plan, likely consisting of a hayloft above a cartshed on the left and a stable on the right. The barn is two stories tall with unaltered elevations. The east front includes a wide doorway on the left, with a narrower loading doorway above it, and ground and first-floor window openings on the right. The loading doorway possibly retains its original ledged doors, and the two-light first-floor window has original wooden shutters. The interior has not been inspected.
