Description

Cliff Villas is a pair of fishermen's cottages built in the early 19th century. They feature painted slatestone rubble walls and a grouted scantle slate roof with brick chimneys at the gable ends. Each cottage has a double depth plan with two storeys above fishermen's stores located in the basement. The south front of the cottages has one window on both the ground and first floors for each cottage. There are doorways with planked doors at the extreme left and right leading to the fishermen's stores in the basement. A central 4-pane, 2-light casement window is present, while the other windows are 12-pane sashes, all with timber lintels. Stair windows are located in the middle of the gable ends. The interiors have not been inspected.
