Description

A pair of large cottages dating from the early 19th century, located on Beach Hill in Veryan, Portloe. The cottages are constructed of painted slatestone rubble with a Delabole dry slate roof and brick chimneys on the gable ends. Each cottage has a two-room central stair plan. The north front features two windows and a central doorway. The windows are four-pane sashes on one cottage and sixteen-pane sashes on the other, all with cambered brick lintels. The interiors were not inspected. The cottages are listed for their group value.
