Includes: No.1 TRURO LANE. Town house with shop. Early/mid C19 rebuilding on C17 site. Stucco on masonry to No.1 Truro Lane (left); stucco on studwork to No.96 above shopfront; fairly steep dry slate roof with outshut over No.1 and hipped return on the left; brick end stacks towards front. L-shaped double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Front of No.1 Truro Lane projects forward with segmental arches over 16-pane hornless sashes. No.96 Lower Market Street has repaired original 1st-floor oriel window with hornless sashes with glazing bars, quadrant sidelights and moulded cornice; early C20 full width transomed shop front with carved end consoles and 4-panel door on left; blind obscures possible original fascia. Left-hand return into Truro Lane has wide window on left under timber lintel with C20 three-light casement; blocked window above and C20 sixteen-pane horned sash over C20 door on right. INTERIOR of shop altered C20, otherwise not inspected.
