Town house. Probably C18; 1821 on rainwater head, possible date of remodelling of front. Colour-washed slatehanging with very large slates on studwork to front and slatehanging to visible ends; bitumen-grouted rag slate roof with moulded eaves and wooden launders (a rare survival); brick end stacks. Narrow double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 1-window range. 3-storey canted bay on the right with late C19 horned sashes with glazing bars. Open-pedimented round-arched doorway on the left; recessed spoked fanlight over C20 door approached by 5 granite steps with bull nosing. INTERIOR: not inspected.
