Description

The forecourt steps and walls to the Methodist Chapel in Bodmin were built in 1840. They are constructed from rubble brought to course, with dressed stone piers. The steps are made of dressed granite, featuring copings and moulded caps on the piers. The entrance is wide and curved, with low walls on either side of the steps that extend along the front to the terminal piers, as well as a short return to an additional pier on the left.
