SW8244NE LEMON STREET 880-1/7/134 (East side) 29/12/50 No.25 and attached forecourt railings

Small town house, now offices. c1803. Granite ashlar front, asbestos slate roof with old hipped dormer behind parapet and brick end stack on the left. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys plus attic over basement; 2-window-range front. Shallow segmental arches with projecting key blocks, mid-floor string and parapet cornice. Doorway, on the right, has a moulded cornice and the panelled door is set back. Wider (but reduced) ground-floor window has horned tripartite sash, otherwise original 16-pane hornless sashes. INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be of interest. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: wrought-iron railings flank entrance bridge and stand over forecourt walls and there are granite steps down to the basement.
