Small town house, now office. 1799. By Edward Milford, builder. Granite ashlar basement, local freestone ashlar above, dry Delabole slate roof behind parapet, brick end stacks. Double-depth plan with 1 room at the front. 2 storeys over blocked basement; 2-window-range front. String and cornice to parapet; round-head doorway on left with open pediment, fluted pilasters, panelled reveals and spoked fanlight over pair of 3-panel doors, and shallow segmental arches over C20 sashes with glazing bars, wider opening with tripartite sash to ground floor. INTERIOR: altered slightly but retains original moulded and carved plaster ceiling cornice and band to original front room space. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: wrought-iron railings with scrolled finials flank entrance and surround forecourt. (The Truro Buildings Research Group: Lemon Street and its Neighbourhood: Truro: 1980-).
