Description
Furzehill is a mid to late 18th century building located on the north side of Barker's Hill in Burraton Coombe. It is two storeys high and constructed of pointed rubble, topped with a slate roof featuring end chimneys. The building has a wooden modillion eaves cornice and three windows with glazing bar sashes, which are segment-headed on the ground floor. There is a central lodged door that is sheltered by a gabled lattice porch. To the left, there is a lean-to with garage doors. The attic is lit by a gable window. At the rear, there is a lower two-window, two-storey 'L' plan extension, along with an additional extension that includes a pigeon loft in the gable end.
