Description
Edwards House is a mid-19th century house located at the end of a row on North Road in Combe Down/Williamstowe. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a slate roof. The building is a tall block set gable to the road and may have been raised from its original two storeys to three. The main front has three plain sash windows, each with one horizontal bar, and a central panelled door beneath a transom light, all set in chamfered jambs. There is a platband just below the first floor sills and another at the second floor level, along with a plain eaves band, coped verges, and a small stack on the left side of the front wall. To the left, there is a small single-storey lean-to wing that extends forward. The gable facing the road features sash windows at both the first and second floors. The interior has not been inspected.
