Description
Nos. 100, 102, and 104 North Road are a row of three cottages built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from limestone ashlar or dressed stone and feature slate roofs. The main front of the cottages faces south, away from the road.
Each cottage is two storeys tall and has one window, all of which are sash windows. No. 100 has a small four-pane window above a four-pane window, with a door to the right in a flat-roofed extension. The far side of No. 100 has two sash windows on each level. It has a coped right gable with a stack, and the left gable has a larger stack shared with No. 102. No. 102 features a twelve-pane sash window and a blocked doorway on the ground floor, with two twelve-pane windows on the first floor facing the garden.
No. 104 is built from rough coursed stone and has a twelve-pane window on the first floor, a four-pane window, and a small square light on the ground floor. The garden side of No. 104 has a four-pane window and a twelve-pane window in a projecting wing. There is a square stack at the party wall. The interiors have not been inspected.
