Description
The traphouse, barn, and implement shed located to the south-west of Torvilla Farmhouse date from the mid-19th century. The building is two storeys high and constructed of rubble with a scantle slate roof. It features an 'L' shaped plan, with wide entries; the ground floor has been converted into a cowshed. The traphouse is an angled extension to the east of the barn, which includes a wide segmental arch on the ground floor and a window above it. There are steps leading to the upper floor on the return side. The implement shed, known as the Linhay, consists of four bays to the west and is supported by granite posts; it is only one storey high.
