Description

The Old Mill House and Mill date to approximately 1800, with later alterations. The building is constructed with a rendered exterior over rubble walls, featuring thin shell courses with random blue stones. It has a half-hipped slate roof. The house section, positioned to the right, has two storeys and three windows with glazing bar sashes. A central door is situated within a glazed porch. The mill, located to the left, extends in an 'L' shaped plan to the rear and contains one window and a door. Internally, the mill retains two pairs of stones on a platform wheel, though the machinery is now absent. This building is of group value for its contribution to the historic character of the area.
