Description

Riverside Rose Cottage is a pair of vernacular cottages dating from the early 19th century. The cottages are constructed of rubble, with rendered fronts, one of which retains exposed ground-floor rubble. They have gable-end slate roofs. Each cottage has two windows, with sash windows; glazing bars remain in the windows of "Riverside”. The cottages have plain central doorways. A tall stone rubble garden wall stands to the side of Riverside, bordering the Latchbrook Stream.
