GWENNAP SUNNY CORNER COTTAGES, Sunny Corner Building at about 20m south of Cottage to west

GV II

Roofless building, possibly wash house. Circa early-mid C19. Killas rubble with some dressed granite. Round rubble stack to east surmounted by 2 round brick upper stages. Rectangular single-cell plan with hearth to east served by attached external round rubble chimney. Doorway to west wall and small window opening to north. Tapered chimney to east wall. Adjoining walling to south may be remains of house. Included for group value and interesting for its round chimney presumably influenced by the nearby mine chimneys.
