Description

The raised pavement, walls, steps, and railings at the junction of West Street and Helston Road in Penryn are likely from the early 19th century. They are constructed from local rubble with granite copings secured by iron cramps. Granite steps lead down from Helston Road to West Street. The site features some wrought-iron railings topped with arrow-head finials. This structure is prominently located in front of The Terrace.
