Description
Pot Pourri is a house and shop located on Church Street in St Day, dating from the mid to later 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed granite and features a slurried slate roof. It has a double-depth plan with the shop situated on the right side. The structure is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The shop has an original double-fronted window with recessed double doors that feature arched glazing. There are side windows with two slightly-arched lights and slender wooden shafts, along with a plain fascia and cornice that extends to the left over the domestic doorway, which has a plain architrave. To the left of the shop entrance is a 4-pane sashed window with a massive granite lintel. On the first floor, there are three 16-pane sashed windows with exposed boxes. A chimney is located at the left gable. The interior has been slightly altered.
