Description

The wall with steps and urns attached to the north of Mount Edgcumbe House is a Grade II listed structure from the early 19th century. It features a granite ashlar wall that stands about one metre high and extends approximately 36 metres in an east/west direction, returning and connecting to Mount Edgcumbe House to the northwest. The wall is topped with a coping and includes five urns set on pedestals: one urn is located to the east, two to the west, and two are centrally placed on either side of a flight of six steps. Additionally, there is one more urn positioned to the northwest.
