Description
Kingston Lisle House features a front wall, steps, and urns dating from the early 19th century. The front wall is made of limestone ashlar and has a central entrance flanked by low square piers topped with ball finials that have broad anulets. On either side of the entrance, the low wall is interrupted by a stepped ramp and three steps, which are also flanked by similar piers. There is attached walling near the house that connects to steps with similar ramps and piers to the right. The side wall on the left includes 20th-century cast-iron railings interrupted by three square piers, extending to a wall that borders the left side of the house. This wall is topped with Grecian urns that were brought to the site by Edwin Martin-Atkins around 1825. The features are included for their group value.
