Description

GRADE-RUAN CADGWITH SW 71 SW 9/8 The Square 10 7 57 GV II Cottage, circa C18 with large C20 extension. White rendered walls with thatched roof and brick chimney in ridge near centre and rendered square chimney in right-hand gable end. Earlier block on right. 1 1/2 storeys, 5 window range (on front), asymmetrical. Ground floor with two C20 2-light 6-pane casement windows flanking partly glazed C20 door. First floor with three C20 2-light 6-pane casement windows. Block on left, 2 storeys, asymmetrical, 4 window range. Central C20 3-light 9-pane casement window on ground floor with two 3-light 6- pane C20 windows and one 3-pane C20 window on first floor. Thatched roof steps up where older 1½ storey parts meets 2 storey newer part. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
