Description

Tregwyn is a 18th-century cottage constructed of rubble serpentine stone, topped with a thatched roof and featuring brick chimneys. The building is one and a half storeys high and has a symmetrical two-window front. On the ground floor, there are two 12-pane horizontal sliding sash windows. Brick stacks are located at the gable ends. A large fireplace beneath the north-east stack has a chamfered timber lintel with run-out steps. The cottage has been extended at the rear with a 20th-century addition that continues under the thatched roof. It is positioned with its north-east gable end facing the road. A retaining wall runs along the roadside, enclosing Tregwyn and Chy Dynos, which are situated at a lower level due to the ground sloping down to the south-west.
