Description

LANSALLOS LANSALLOS STREET, (south side), SX 205O-215O Polperro 6/65 Way-Way Cottage GV II

House. Circa mid C18. Rendered and painted stone rubble with asbestos slate roof with gable end to front. Stone rubble chimney stack with drip course on front gabled end. Small 2-room plan cottage with direct entry into left-hand unheated room and a gabled end stack to the right-hand room. It was probably built on the front of an earlier house, which at the same time was divided into 2 cottages, Hope Cove and adjoining cottage (qv). 2 storeys. Gable end to street. To right of centre one each floor a C20 2-light casement without glazing bars. Front elevation on left-hand return with entrance to left with slate canopy and C20 half-glazed door. Small first floor blocked window above. Partly blocked doorway to right to form window with single-light 2-pane casement. Interior not accessible.
